Founder of The Jewels Club, Andrew creates platforms that connect the world of jewellery through community, content and access.
Founded in 2016 by Mags Walker, Toolally began life in a small Yorkshire studio with a simple mission: to create jewellery that was bold, colourful and unafraid to stand out. What started as an experiment with homemade designs quickly drew attention when a chance encounter with the then-Fashion Director of British Vogue helped put the brand on the map. Toolally’s distinctive acrylic earrings soon became a fashion talking point, admired for their lightweight wearability as much as their striking design. From those early days, the brand grew steadily, reaching customers across the UK before expanding internationally to Australia and Japan.
Despite its global growth, Toolally has remained true to its roots as a family business. In 2022, Mags’s son Jack Walker joined as Managing Director, bringing a new energy and perspective to the company. His role has been to help shape the brand’s future – from expanding collections to strengthening its sustainable focus – while ensuring that Toolally’s confident design DNA remains at the forefront. Together, Mags and Jack continue to guide the brand with the same creative spirit and personal touch that defined its beginnings.
Toolally jewellery is unmistakably bold, playful and lightweight, designed to be worn with confidence. But behind the fearless aesthetic lies a clear commitment to sustainability:
All silver and gold vermeil pieces are crafted from 100% recycled 925 sterling silver.
Manufacturing partners are audited by the Responsible Jewellery Council.
Packaging – from jewellery boxes to postal cartons – is FSC certified.
The brand’s Full Circle Service offers repairs, replating and polishing for life, ensuring pieces stay in circulation, not discarded.
Each Toolally collection draws inspiration from art, architecture and fashion heritage. Themes include:
Art Deco – geometric lines and graphic statements. The collection that defines Toolally’s design DNA. Inspired by the glamour and geometry of the Art Deco era, these earrings and necklaces balance elegance with drama, creating statement pieces that remain wearable every day.
Hearts & Flowers – romantic and playful designs. A collection of floral-inspired earrings and necklaces alongside romantic heart motifs. Designs range from delicate and playful to bold statement pieces, offering something for every style and occasion.
Initials – personal touches for everyday wear. Personalised jewellery with a graphic edge. These earrings and necklaces feature bold letter motifs, designed to add individuality and a distinctive finishing touch to any look.
The collections are designed to span occasions – weddings, festivals, holidays, parties – always with colour and character at their core.
Toolally has built more than a customer base – it has nurtured a community. Those who wear Toolally often speak about the instant lift the jewellery brings to an outfit, and the confidence that comes with it. Many remark on how surprisingly lightweight the designs are, despite their bold appearance, making them comfortable enough to wear all day and well into the evening.
The brand’s attention to detail extends beyond the jewellery itself. From beautifully presented packaging to responsive, personal service, every touchpoint is designed to feel thoughtful and considered. This approach has fostered loyalty, with many customers returning to expand their collections season after season.
Testimonials highlight not just admiration for the designs, but appreciation for the brand’s ethos and care. One customer described the pieces as “clever, colourful and lightweight – elegant with a fun twist,” while another praised the “top customer service earning the loyalty of repeat custom.” The feedback reflects a consistent theme: Toolally jewellery is more than an accessory – it is an experience, built on joy, design, and trust.

Durability and longevity are central to Toolally’s philosophy. Each piece is designed not just to be worn, but to be kept, cared for and enjoyed for years. The brand provides clear, practical guidance to help customers maintain their jewellery – from avoiding contact with lotions and perfumes to cleaning gently with a soft cloth and storing pieces safely away from sunlight. These small steps help protect finishes and ensure colours and metals stay vibrant.
What sets Toolally apart is its commitment to support wearers long after purchase. The Full Circle Service offers repairs, replating and polishing for life, giving customers confidence that their jewellery will always remain in its best condition. This service transforms each piece into a long-term investment rather than a short-lived accessory.
At the creative helm of Toolally is Mags Walker, the Yorkshire-based founder whose passion for fashion shaped the brand’s distinctive identity. Before launching Toolally in 2016, Mags worked as a finance director at a global company and later ran her own marketing agency – experience that gave her both creative vision and business acumen.
Her journey into jewellery design began with experimental, homemade pieces that led to a chance encounter with the then-Fashion Director of British Vogue. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a brand defined by bold acrylic earrings and a fearless use of colour. Over time, Toolally expanded into sterling silver and gold vermeil designs, with collections inspired by art, architecture and fashion history.
In 2022, her son Jack Walker joined as Managing Director, ensuring Toolally’s family spirit remains at its core. Together, they continue to grow the brand’s loyal community of wearers and stockists, blending individuality, sustainability and unmistakable British style.
Mags and Jack Walker
Toolally stands out as one of those rare British jewellery brands that balances playfulness with responsibility. What began in a Yorkshire studio has grown into a family-led label with international reach, yet it has never lost sight of its roots. The commitment to recycled silver, FSC-certified packaging and lifetime repairs speaks to a modern consumer who wants design with conscience – jewellery that not only looks good but does good.
The design language is equally compelling. From the geometry of Art Deco to the charm of hearts and flowers, Toolally creates pieces that feel instantly recognisable and endlessly wearable. They are light, colourful and brimming with character – accessories that spark conversations and bring joy.
For us at The Jewels Club, Toolally represents the best of contemporary British jewellery: bold ideas, sustainable thinking and a genuine connection with its community. It is proof that independent design can be both innovative and responsible, creating jewellery that deserves to be worn, loved and kept for years to come.
