Founder of The Jewels Club, Andrew creates platforms that connect the world of jewellery through community, content and access.
The jewellery industry has always been about more than craftsmanship and creativity. Time and again, it has demonstrated an extraordinary willingness to come together in support of important causes.
This September, that spirit of generosity will once again be in the spotlight as Howard Graham, Managing Director of Ntinga and CEO of The Heart of Gems, leads a fundraising initiative for the British Heart Foundation at the Olympia Jewellery Show. The campaign will see a dedicated British Heart Foundation stand hosting a premium charity tombola, with every donation helping to fund life-saving heart research.
Thanks to the support of the event organisers, the British Heart Foundation will have its own stand throughout the exhibition, creating a focal point for fundraising across the two-day event.
To encourage visitors to take part, Howard is appealing to jewellery suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and industry partners to donate prizes. Jewellery pieces, loose gemstones and luxury experiences are all being sought to help create a tombola where almost every ticket offers a premium prize.
Writing to colleagues across the trade, Howard said:
“Having been part of the British Heart Foundation, I have seen our collective trade community help raise monies to date. I know firsthand just how incredibly generous and supportive our industry can be.”

Alongside raising funds, donating businesses will also receive recognition throughout the exhibition, showcasing the industry’s collective support for the charity.
For Howard, the initiative is deeply personal.
His long-standing support of the British Heart Foundation stems from his own family’s experience with heart disease, making this latest fundraising campaign another chapter in his commitment to supporting the charity’s work.
Heart and circulatory diseases continue to affect millions of people across the UK, with every donation helping to fund research into prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
Trade exhibitions are often remembered for new collections, networking and business opportunities.
This September, Olympia also offers the chance to demonstrate something equally important: the strength of the jewellery community when it works together.
Whether it’s donating a piece of jewellery, a loose gemstone or another prize, businesses of every size have the opportunity to play their part in supporting a cause that touches so many families.
Sometimes the industry’s greatest achievements are measured not by sales, but by the difference it makes beyond the showroom.

One of the jewellery industry’s greatest strengths has always been its sense of community.
Competitors become collaborators when there’s an opportunity to support a worthwhile cause, and initiatives like this remind us that the trade can have a positive impact far beyond jewellery itself.
We hope to see suppliers, manufacturers and retailers from across the industry get behind Howard’s appeal. Every donated prize will help raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation while demonstrating the generosity that continues to define our industry.
