There are jewellers, and then there are makers. Bobby White is firmly in the second camp — a hands-on designer who spends more time at the bench than behind a desk. Raised in East London, Bobby started out with a traditional five-year apprenticeship, learning his craft in the time-honoured way. By the age of 21, he’d launched his own brand and was already making a name for himself with bold, mechanically inspired designs that stood apart from the crowd.
A Family Business with Precision at its Core
Working alongside his brother Tommy, Bobby has built a business that’s fiercely independent and fully self-contained. Every piece is designed, made and finished in-house, using a unique mix of old-world tools and modern CAD technology. From motion rings with intricate moving parts to high-impact chains and sculptural engagement rings, the level of precision is meticulous — and always driven by a maker’s mindset.

Celebrity Fans, but Craft First
While commissions from stars like Jay-Z, Rihanna and Beyoncé have undoubtedly raised the brand’s profile, Bobby’s appeal runs deeper. His loyal following on YouTube and Instagram tune in not just to admire the end product, but to learn about the process — a rare behind-the-scenes look at the real work that goes into fine jewellery.

An Educator and Advocate for the Trade
Bobby is more than a brand — he’s become a public face for the British jewellery industry. Through his work with the British Academy of Jewellery and his appearances on shows like Channel 4’s The Jewellery Channel, he’s helped promote bench skills, transparency and hands-on craftsmanship to a new generation.
Jewellery That Moves – and a Maker Who Doesn’t Stop
At the heart of it all is motion: in design, in the business, and in Bobby himself. Whether he’s refining a mechanism for a new kinetic ring or mentoring future makers, Bobby White is proof that when tradition meets innovation — and when makers lead from the front — British jewellery doesn’t just shine. It moves.
