With Nom : Boucheron, Prénom : Frédéric, Boucheron turns its attention to the man whose instinct, elegance and daring shaped the Maison from its earliest days. Under the artistic direction of Claire Choisne, this new chapter of Histoire de Style becomes a contemporary portrait of Frédéric Boucheron — not through nostalgia, but through four high-jewellery creations that reinterpret his values for the present.

Each piece is a distillation of what made Frédéric extraordinary: his fascination with architectural lines, his belief that jewellery should move with the body, and his poetic admiration for nature’s unrestrained forms. Set against the backdrop of Place Vendôme, where he opened his Maison in 1893, the collection reads like a dialogue between past and present — precise, expressive and unmistakably Boucheron.

The Address — Geometry of Place Vendôme

The story begins where the Maison itself was founded: 26 Place Vendôme. The Address translates the iconic octagonal geometry of the square into a graphic, architectural necklace built around a magnificent 10.01-carat emerald-cut diamond. White gold and pavé diamonds frame the stone in clean, confident lines, while subtle touches of black lacquer echo the rhythm and symmetry of Parisian façades.

It is a jewel that connects the Maison directly to the city — a literal and symbolic re-anchoring to the heart of Parisian high jewellery.

The Spark — A Reinvention of the Question Mark

Frédéric Boucheron’s greatest technical revolution came in 1879 with the invention of the Question Mark Necklace, a claspless design that curved naturally around the wearer’s neck. The Spark reinterprets this breakthrough for today through a bold cascade of diamond cuts, culminating in a breathtaking 5.01-carat kite-shaped diamond surrounded by baguette pavé.

The asymmetry feels modern; the comfort is unmistakably Boucheron.

It is a piece that breathes — and proves how visionary Frédéric’s original idea remains.

The Silhouette — Couture Made in Diamonds

The Silhouette is the chapter’s most sculptural creation: a multi-wear jewel that can be styled six different ways, from a graphic collar to a dramatic shoulder piece. Its curves follow the natural lines of the body, honouring Frédéric’s belief that jewellery should move with the wearer, not against them.

More than 2,500 round diamonds and over seven metres of bezel-set pavé bring couture softness to metal and light. It is jewellery that behaves like draped fabric — supple, expressive, and technically astounding.

The Untamed — Nature as Muse

Nature was always Frédéric’s great muse, especially the ivy that climbed the walls near his first boutique. The Untamed embraces this poetic wildness with articulated leaf motifs, fluid lines and the ethereal luminosity of rock crystal.

Every leaf is mobile, designed to sway with the wearer, capturing the spirit of natural movement rather than a literal botanical replica. It is the most emotional piece of the collection — a reminder that for Boucheron, nature is not ornament but identity.

A Founder Reinterpreted, Not Repeated

Together, these four creations form a portrait that feels intimate and modern. Instead of reproducing Frédéric Boucheron’s designs, Choisne has revived his principles: architecture, movement, craftsmanship, freedom. The result is a collection that is both tribute and transformation — heritage elevated by imagination.

This is not the past retold.

It is the past re-imagined.

The Jewels Club Take

Nom : Boucheron, Prénom : Frédéric stands as one of Boucheron’s most thoughtful high-jewellery narratives to date. It captures the Maison’s origins through four sharply defined creative expressions, each revealing a facet of its founder’s spirit.

In an era where many maisons lean into spectacle, Boucheron offers clarity, creativity and emotional precision. These pieces are deeply modern, yet anchored by the philosophy that has always set Boucheron apart: jewellery that lives with the body, speaks with restraint, and carries heritage as a quiet force.

A masterful tribute — and one of the strongest high-jewellery statements of the season.
