Jewellery has long been used to preserve stories, celebrate milestones and connect generations. Now, H.AZEEM London is bringing Britain’s royal history to life through an extensive new jewellery collection inspired by some of the country’s most iconic palaces.

The award-winning jewellery brand has unveiled The Jewel Collection, created in partnership with Historic Royal Palaces following its appointment as an official licensee in December 2025. Developed in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces’ specialist teams, the collection draws inspiration from the architecture, interiors and decorative treasures of the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace.

A Partnership Built Over More Than a Decade

While the official licensing agreement is new, the relationship between H.AZEEM London and Historic Royal Palaces has been years in the making.

Having worked together as a retail partner for more than a decade, the new licensing partnership has given H.AZEEM London direct access to Historic Royal Palaces’ extensive archive, allowing the design team to explore original objects, decorative details and architectural features in greater depth.

According to founder Hinna Azeem, the closer collaboration has enabled the brand to create jewellery that feels even more connected to the stories behind Britain’s royal residences while introducing those narratives to a wider audience.

Royal Inspiration Reimagined

Rather than reproducing historic artefacts, The Jewel Collection interprets them through contemporary jewellery design.

The Tower of London collection takes inspiration from Queen Mary II’s Orb, translating one of the monarchy’s most recognisable ceremonial objects into necklaces and earrings featuring sapphire-toned stones, garnets or moissanite framed by textured gold detailing.

At Hampton Court Palace, the collections celebrate everything from the intricate geometry of the Wolsey Room ceiling and Henry VIII’s famous astronomical clock to the decorative ironwork of master blacksmith Jean Tijou and the palace’s celebrated Great Wisteria. Each collection interprets these historic features through carefully considered combinations of gemstones, openwork structures and sculptural forms.

Meanwhile, Kensington Palace provides inspiration for four further collections, including designs influenced by the palace’s Golden Gates, Queen Victoria’s black mourning bodice, William Kent’s King’s Drawing Room ceiling and the celebrated Fife Tiara, gifted by Queen Victoria to Princess Louise of Wales. Together, they demonstrate how historic architecture, royal fashion and decorative arts can be transformed into contemporary jewellery while retaining their original character.

Heritage Meets Contemporary Design

Licensed jewellery continues to evolve beyond simple souvenirs, with consumers increasingly seeking meaningful pieces that tell a story.

The Jewel Collection reflects that shift by combining historical research with modern craftsmanship. Rather than focusing solely on royal symbolism, the collections explore architectural details, interior decoration, historic craftsmanship and personal stories, allowing each design to carry a deeper narrative.

The collaboration also highlights the growing importance of cultural partnerships within the jewellery industry, creating collections that resonate with visitors long after they leave Britain’s historic landmarks.

Continuing to Evolve

Alongside its focus on storytelling, H.AZEEM London continues to develop its collections with an emphasis on craftsmanship and sustainability, including the introduction of recycled silver across its ranges.

The result is a collection that combines historical authenticity with contemporary wearability, offering customers jewellery inspired by some of Britain’s most treasured royal residences while remaining firmly rooted in modern design.

The Jewels Club Take

The most successful licensed collections do more than carry a recognisable name—they create an emotional connection.

By working closely with Historic Royal Palaces, H.AZEEM London has developed a collection that looks beyond the obvious, drawing inspiration from architecture, craftsmanship and royal history rather than simply reproducing famous symbols. It demonstrates how thoughtful storytelling can add depth to jewellery design while giving customers a lasting connection to some of Britain’s most celebrated historic sites.
